Slightly necrothreading, but as a follow-up to the original post and in case it might be useful to someone else who is trying to get one of these to run, I did finally get my new little Witness P-Carry 10mm to function right. When I got it, the first thing I did was to swap the guide rod for one of Henning's cone rods for the 3.6" barrel version (to keep it from cracking the frame) and then after it crumpled the factory dual spring set-up on the second magazine, I have been tinkering with Wolff springs ever since. What I wound up doing is using the #14 spring trimmed down to fit from the Witness 9mm Long slide Wolff calibration pack, and so far that one has functioned well. I really do like the feel of the gun in my hand so I am trying hard to get it to be function reliably enough to use it as a carry gun and so far it works with the PMC 200gr ammo I am using in it. Once I get it the function part ironed out, then it will be looking at some night sites (maybe the battlehook version?) to go with it.

Do you know what part number of Wolff extra power mag spring those would use? I'd like to try and get this pistol to work reliably enough to use as my primary carry pistol, but only if I can get it to function 100%. Maybe a new mag spring would help?

These are the springs I bought:

I have red-follower mags and they run 100% with these springs.

Thanks. I wonder if the K10 14-round mags use the same size spring as the 12-round red follower mags? At least its a starting place, though. Perhaps between that and a calibration kit, I can get this little pistol running right. I hope so, anyway. It really DOES fit my hand so much better than a Glock, to me anyway.

A 20lb/inch spring is a 20 lb-inch spring.  It can be marked 22lr, as long as the ID/OD/length and spring rating are right it will run just fine.

Those failure's to feed are similar to the ones I had with my witness early on.  I went to stronger mag springs and the issues went away.  YMMV.

It came with the one K10 14-round mag. I'm planning on getting a couple of more if I keep it. Do you know what part number of Wolff extra power mag spring those would use? I'd like to try and get this pistol to work reliably enough to use as my primary carry pistol, but only if I can get it to function 100%. Maybe a new mag spring would help? Or maybe I should just order a new stock dual spring, put it all back original and sell it, and then just get a Glock? I've also got a new Colt Delta Elite, but I was leaning toward keeping that one in as near to NIB condition as I can resist the temptation on the long term and got this as an alternative to buying a Glock 20, as I'm just not a huge Glock guy overall (although I did get to handle a new Glock 40 this weekend and it was kind of nice, although big as a carry weapon).

That is what I got from him for mine as well, although mine is one of those oddballs with the full-size frame and square-top compact slide combination that EAA doesn't list in their catalog.

I got one of his cone-fit short rods for it and am very happy with the rod, but I also got the 20-lb 9mm longslide Wolff spring too. I have had to trim it down with the Dremel a few times to get it to fit, and it seems to be a bit oversprung for the ammo I am trying to run in it- 200gr FMJ PMC and 155gr XTP Hornady (the Hornady destroyed the original double spring set-up on the first mag of it) so I am thinking about trying to get a calibration kit for the 9mm longslide from Wolff and see if maybe the 16 lb or 18 lb might work better? In all fairness to Henning, HE suggested the lower rate springs to begin with; jumping all the way up to 20 lb was my idea and while it might still be good for hotter rounds like maybe Underwood, it kept giving me these at the range...
