Slightly necrothreading, but as a follow-up to the original post and in case it might be useful to someone else who is trying to get one of these to run, I did finally get my new little Witness P-Carry 10mm to function right. When I got it, the first thing I did was to swap the guide rod for one of Henning's cone rods for the 3.6" barrel version (to keep it from cracking the frame) and then after it crumpled the factory dual spring set-up on the second magazine, I have been tinkering with Wolff springs ever since. What I wound up doing is using the #14 spring trimmed down to fit from the Witness 9mm Long slide Wolff calibration pack, and so far that one has functioned well. I really do like the feel of the gun in my hand so I am trying hard to get it to be function reliably enough to use it as a carry gun and so far it works with the PMC 200gr ammo I am using in it. Once I get it the function part ironed out, then it will be looking at some night sites (maybe the battlehook version?) to go with it.
