It's beautiful, how could you not like it. Before I got my G20 I almost went EAA, love the look and might get one someday. Great buy.

The ad says they won't sell to LE in those states.  Normal citizens are fine.  Maybe I missed something.

Looked that way to me as well.

Looking on his site, I see the V- Supreme but I don't see just Supreme. Is Supreme the practice ammo?

General Discussion / Ammo and more store in Montana.

Has anyone heard of this place in Stevens Montana? Sounds like they have stock in most bulk and have Armscor 10mm $188.00 for 500 and I like Armscor for plinking and not in the mood for full 10mm. They require a photo ID for orders and I am just a skeptical person. Thanks for any help.

The whole thing with DT, is simple for me. If you are lying and misleading people about velocity, what esle is going on that they are not being honest enough. I was going to buy DT when I first got my 10mm, thanks to this site, I found Underwood and most satisfied.

I will also say that I would give most manufactures a 50-75fps break on listed velocities. Plenty of things can be different in their testing and my world, but again with Underwood, I don't really have to worry much.

It's listed on the stickied sheet. Roughly 679.

I thought of that this morning and was thinking to myself, "what an idiot"

Thanks for the reminder though. :'(

I hope Kevin saves some of that 10mm brass for a different bullet then the 180 TMJ. I need some 155 HP,180 HP and if a miricle happened some 135 HP. I have enough 180 TMJ if 1000 is enough. All my HP are Buffalo Bore,Nugent which is a pretty good round and Hornady FTX. The Hornady is light. and of course the if I run out of everything else and cannot eat the Prvi 180 JHP that will never be shot but its OK to have them I guess.

The 135 is my choosen defense round and I bought 1,000 rounds way before this crisis started. I bought that many to really practice with what I was going to carry. At the moment, I am not sure where my count of 135lies, but if I have enough to keep me satisfied and you want a couple few boxes we could work out a trade. I think I also have 150 rounds of 155 bonded hp.

NO!  The barrels of Glocks have different geometry for one model to another...example G20 and the G29 are different and not interchangeable.  However companies like Lone Wolf Dist., Storm Lake, Bar-Sto and KKM  do make some aftermarket conversion barrel configurations for various models of guns!  8)

I kind of figured that no was the anwser and one had to get the conversion barrel. This goes to prove the only question not asked is the dumb one.

Thanks for the reply Shadow.

Just want to make sure I don't do something stupid, I have a G22 and a G20. Could I take the barrel out of the 22 and place in the 20 to shoot .40S&W, or is a seperate conversion barrel needed?

It comes down to honesty for me! I am not going to buy ammunition from DT because of the lies they tell about their ammo. I buy Underwood for their honesty in the product they sell.

I feel if a company is dishonest about their velocities, what else are they doing wrong?

I voted for Doubletap and Grizzly as stuff I would not shoot. That being said I have been thrilled with the Underwood ammo and for plinking, I use Armscor and no problems except a little dirty.

PBR is a fine deal and if I were in the position to buy at the moment, I would most likely get some.

As already said, Underwood is the anwser for full power 10mm loads!

Uz2bUSMC,

Ya, I figured if that happened with the DT load, the Underwood would be just as bad. I agree with the temporary stretch cavity, it is additional blunt trauma in my view. It just hard to figure which is best, many people favore the faster and lighter is better and other go slower and heavy. Not to say a 180 10mm is slow, but I think I like your logic behind the heavier bullet, think it's time to get some 180's from Underwood and develope my skills with that load.

Thank you very much, your picture and logic has given me a more clear view on the heavy bullets.

Not to confuse you, but just so you know... if two given bullet weights do what I want them to do through a barrier, I would choose the lighter of the two i.e. 165 vs 180. The 165 would tend to be more violent upon impact given the same bullet construction. Sometimes these things are hard to explain without the conversation going way off on a tangent. Also, these subjects tend to be discussed with much passion. Since this forum has such a friendly atmosphere, I tend to keep my terminal ballistic discussions on another forum. The nice thing about the 180 grn in 10mm is that it becomes your proverbial cake and eat it too package. It's heavy AND really fast!

No confusion, the information has been great as I am new to the 10mm and it is good to hear from people who have been using the round far longer than I.
