Forgot about this thread. Finally got the M9-22 at Bud's for $330. 

I forgot I shot some Federal red box bulk hollow points. They did good. The Thunderbolts has some power to it. I haven't tried the Winchester white box bulk HPs yet. I also have a shipment of 1500 rnds of Aguila Super Extra HPs coming in tomorrow.

A day at the range. Shot the Thunderbolts, Federal bulk ammo, Winchester small game and Federal Champion.

The 1911 does not like the Champion ammo at all. Under powered, misfeeds and jams. After 5 rounds of it I said fug it.

The rest shot good. As to the accuracy, it's more accurate than I am.

Finally got it home. 

Went to pick up the 1911 and the NICS put a delay on it. probably what's holding up my carry permit renewal.

Damn buggers. My carry permit expired a week ago.

I can understand that. The higher velocity caused the XTP to mushroom faster thus more energy dump.

Well, it sold out. Found another one and it sold out later. At first it was $315 then $356. Next was $398 and I thought fug it. It was a Beretta 92 in 22lr. Same size as the 9mm model and identical in functions.

I looked around some more and found what I like even more. For $251 I got a "Colt Government 45" 1911 in 22lr model from Walther. I found it at Bud's and it just hit the shipping dept this morning. I think this is even better though I admire the Beretta 92 model.

Same functions as the real 1911.

That's true with any gun. Find what it likes and stick with it.

I'd like to remain mute on the 22 and the site til I have it in my basket for now. So much are sold out all over and I probably will lose out when the time comes.

I just sold my 10mm pistol. No more bear guns for me. 

Got my eye on a sweet 22lr semi-auto pistol. Same size as a 9mm model but a 22.

Can't wait. 

You can never have a reliable test media. The gel test is only for bullet comparisons. It'll never simulate real life situation.

Enough to serve as 10mm loads.

I have shoulder pains so just holding the gun up is tiring already. The reason I can get groups inside is breaks, plenty of breaks.

I'm old and have chronic pains and I'm a regular at the pain clinic.
