Hello all!
I'm a beginner here and could use a little help. I have a Glock 20 Gen4 Full FDE that I purchased a year ago. To date I have about 300 rounds through it. It has been susceptible to feeding issues but i think that has more to do with it not being broken in. I shot 150 rounds through it yesterday starting with weak ammo and building up to full strength 200 XTP Underwood. I only had 1 FTF with the 200 Underwood and i limp-wristed it, so i think she is starting to break in a little bit.
I would like to use this gun for pig hunting and woods carry. I plan on loading it with 200 grain Underwood or Double Tap hard cast loads and have decided to get a 6" barrel.
Questions:
1) Should I use the Gen4 OEM RSA with 18# double spring or a Gen3 RSA and adapter with 22# spring? Which is better for reliability?
2) Should I go with the 6" Lone Wolf or 6" KKM barrel?
3) If i change barrels and RSAs, do i need to start the break-in period again?
I am a bowhunting guy not a pistol guy so thank you for the help!
