I bought a Kimber TLE II 10mm and now I'm looking for general purpose carry ammo. I have been pondering the Hornady 155 XTP or 180 XTP. I will be walking the woods some here in South Carolina, concerned about wild hogs, small dogs, two legged sidewinders and maybe a black bear or puma. I walked the woods for years, never came across a bear, hog or puma; mostly sidewinders, tweakers and yoga pants wearers.
May sidewinder neighbor told me hard cast bullet so I could take down a grizzly. I don't see roaming pack of grizzlies down here in South Carolina.
I'm looking for something that works.

Has anyone tried using Hornady HAP in their 1911 10mm? Any feeding problems?
