I was suprised to hear a previous poster had problems with the slide hurting his hand.  I have extremely large hands (I wear XXXL gloves, size15 ring finger, and 10" finger reach).  I had a S&W SD40, I had to get rid of because of the small grip.  The HiPoint JCP40 fits my hand like a glove.  No problems with my hands at all.
