I'm looking for a good way to carry my 1911 concealed while hiking.  I've got plenty of decent belt holster options, but sometimes they don't work when I'm using a day pack.  I'm thinking something like a concealable chest rig or messenger bag to put it in for those hikes where I need it to remain completely out of sight, but I'd appreciate any input on what you carry your 10mm in, while keeping it hidden.

I guess that I was hoping for a bit more out of this as well, once I'm able to actually find it.

I would love to see both the smaller carry guns, and a carbine, but no one seems too interested in making them.

Curious if anyone has first hand knowledge of Tripp's "System" 10 round 10mm magazines. Says that they have a different length spring, and a different follower from the 9 round.

I used to be a big Double Tap fan. But these days, Mike's ammo is coming up short of advertised numbers. Sometimes 100+ fps.

The only thing that I can really speak to currently is the Colt 10mm, and it's been spot on this far. I guess that Colt made them jump through some hoops for it, and it isn't posted as warm as his other stuff. Basing this off of 100 rounds so far.

I ran a 23lb, and it felt comically heavy, but my 29sf fan just fine with range ammo, and nasty full loads. I did go back to a 21lb.

9x25 can be a good time to shoot, the amount loads that you can work up on it are crazy.
