I carry a 1006 daily, I also use the 22 pound Wolff Spring. I mostly fire Double Tap or Underwood 135gr JHP or 155gr JHP or the solid copper HP in 125gr or 155gr. they are pretty hot rounds, high velocity. The 1006 originally came with came with a 19 Lb. Spring from the Factory 30 years ago. A First wedding Anniversary present from my wife. Quisno You can get a full tune up pak from Wolff and change all of the springs in your 1006, this way they have the necessary tension. They have them in 19, 20, 22and 24, they may have one that's less than the original. It's good to do every once in a while. You can also get new Magazine springs from them to keep you magazine working properly. I have a bunch of handguns but the 1006 is by far my favorite.
