I'm interested to see how this turns out. I was POed in the 90's when LAR up and quit part support for all handguns. My 45 WM needed a barrel after I ported the factory barrel and then the barrel developed a hump between the ports. I found a used barrel 10 years later and it is now up and running.

I looked and I didn't see any data. Pro Reach seems to be in and around AA7, Enforcer, Longshot ... . I have 1 pound of it, and in these days, you gotta use what ya got. If there is any data out there, or a reason why I SHOULDN'T use it - I'm all ears!

I might also consider a 1911, single or double stack. Commander size preferred. Not interested in Rock Island, Glock or striker fired pistols
