This M&P took the place of my Glock 20 and it hasn't disappointed! Nothing against Glock, they just don't fit my hand.

Looks like S&W is coming for Hi-Point and Kel-Tech's corner of the market!

That's unfortunate! Even the higher dollar guns can and do have issues! I have never owned a Girsan so I don't know how they do returns on warranty issues. It seems to me, if they don't issue a prepaid shipping label that, not only do you have to pay shipping, you have to find an ffl to ship it for you!

I like the solid copper bullets, they are very consistent in dimension and performance. One drawback, I can't cast them at home!

Reloading 10mm ammo / Re: Casting ?

I learned how to cast on a Coleman stove and a cast iron dutch oven. Like sqlbullet said, the oil will burn off. The cast iron will give you many years of service. Just leave enough lead in it, when you're finished casting for the day, to cover the bottom of the pot. It makes melting lead the next time quicker. A 4 qt. dutch oven will hold 90 lbs. of melted lead!

I have a Freedom Ordnance FX 9. I must say that I am biased toward it because it is built by my neighbor! I have the handgun length barrels in 4" and 10". I absolutely love the platform and have had zero issues with it. I also have a TNW in 10 mm. I like it for the ability to switch calibers without having to buy the complete firearms. I can't speak to the others on your list.

I had/have a Lyman 1200 DPS. The first one crapped out on me after warranty and was given a discount on a new one but still had to pay a sizable sum! If this one goes out, I will definitely go to the RCBS!

Now that I'm retired, I don't shoot as much as I used to! I need to get back into the habit of maintaining proficiency, thanks for the reminder!

You could use the sheet metal from an old washer, dryer, refrigerator etc.
No molten lead in the lap is always a good thing! My casting is done while standing!

After messing with multiple 1911 platforms, the Dan Wesson has been the most reliable and smoothest platform I have ever owned!

Looks good! If you have access to or can get a piece of steel or sheet metal to cover the wood top, it would be a convenient add for clean up and accident purposes! Spilled lead on wood is a pain in the arse!
