I found that Galloway Precision has a captured guide rod and spring that can be has with 15,17,20 or 22 lb springs. I purchased a guide rod with a 20 lb and some 22 lb spares. The 20 seems to work for now. Hope this helps.

Funny, I had the same issue with some Pro Mags (low quality) for a Ruger PC40 many years ago.Purchased three mags, two worked great and third one was a problem child. Finally I realized they had assembled the follower backwards on the problem mag. Reversed it and problem solved. I just didn?t use that mag for a few years until it occurred to me . If you ever have this problem, then you will always think of this possibility. Nice job realizing this snafu.

Hey Guys..new to the forum. I was able to find some at Proven Arms and Outfitters. Formerly Quantico Tactical. They are on backorder now but might be worth a try. They gave me a discount for ordering three or more. $30 for 1-2, and $25 ea for three or more, great prices.I had to do a deep dive to find them. Hope this helps.
