Those razorbacks are sweet and accurate guns. My Kimber is pretty good. It's a tossup for which one I carry.

Have an account for the Fusion I want, sadly not getting much funds a the moment, due to purchasing a suppressor for the H&K.

Also want a Wilson in 10mm.

I guess I just love collecting 10mm pistols, and all of them get used during the year to keep familiar with them.

10mm semi-auto handguns / Re: SBR my Glock 20C

CW

I have one for the 1911 frame.

Currently have it on top of my Delta frame.

With red dot easy to make 100yd shots with wimpy commercial ammo.

The advantage of the MECTEC is the 16" barrel.

The MECTEC are a blowback design, using heavy bolt and springs.

Picked up one of these the other day.
Roni Glock Pistol Carbine
http://blackdragontactical.com/go/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15&products_id=80

Form 4 off to the ATF to transfer it back to me after the NFA manufacturer SBR'd it.

Got to try it out, it is way cool, and after I get another Glock 20, will make a perfect truck carbine to go with carrying the Glock 20.

Will get an after market 6" barrel for the SBR'd G20.

Reloading 10mm ammo / Re: I loaded up some 10's today

Getting ready to prime some more cleaned cases.

These plus the primed represent approx half of my 10mm cases.
Probably another bag of brass and three bags of nickel plated.

I have a few shotguns, mostly for Trap shooting.

One I bet few have seen or owned is this one.

It is a Greener Trap Gun. A martini action 12g.

I now own two of these.

It is a clone.

1.250" - 1.255" seems to feed into the pistol just fine.

I am getting another set of loads ready for accuracy and chrono testing.

Will post results.

I have a whole lot of once fired brass to load (approx 5000) . I am finally near the end of my last bulk buy loads.

The brass is a mix of headstamps. Starline, Winchester, others. Plus approx 2000 double tap nickel plated cases.

Anyone have a subsonic load for 165gr jacketed FMJFP bullet as I have some 125gr frangible bullets that I want to try when I get the suppressor for the MP5-10?

thanks

Hi all.
Just joined.

Loaded up some of my 10mm brass and chrono'd the various loads.

Winchester once fired brass, WLP primer Longshot Power and 180gr Berry Plated FN bullets. AOL was 1.260"
This length fail to feed into the chamber from the mag in the Kimber but not the MP5.

All powder hand weighted on balance scale.
Bullet seated and crimped in a Dillon 650.

First up 5 rounds of each weight in a Kimber Custom Eclipse II 5" barrel    (BP is bad primer, failed to go bang)

8.5gr  1277 1199 1224 BP BP
8.6gr  1228 1232 1234 1207 1245
8.7gr  1207 1205 1227 1278 1225
8.8gr  1252 1198 1264 1236 1269
8.9gr  1251 1252 1244 1270 1235
9.0gr  1233 1246 1200 1232 1232

Some of the higher numbers may have been because I was closer to the chrono than other times.
All rounds locked the slide back on a empty mag.

Next is 5 rounds of each weight in a MP5-10 8.9" barrel SBR

8.5gr  1299 1151 1270 1287 1322
8.6gr  1257 1250 1256 1265 1279
8.7gr  1333 1306 1338 BP     1338
8.8gr  1365 1330 1338 1275 1325
8.9gr  1331 1367 1334 1319 1299
9.0gr  1304 1334 1318 1306 1268

Loaded up all five rounds of each weight into the mag, all cycled the MP5 and locked the bolt open on a empty mag.

The kimber was throwing the brass quite a ways, so I suspect I need a new spring in the gun.
Need to try these loads again in my Dan Wesson Razorback as it has a low round count, and be more consistent in firing distance from the chrono.

Did not test for accuracy, just wanted to see what each load was producing speed wise and function testing the gun.

Next series of tests will be for accuracy at 15yds in the pistol and 25yds in the MP5-10.
Will set up the tests a little better next time.

Reduced the AOL to 1.250 and tested them feeding into the kimber. They feed well at that length. This is the same length as BVAC reloads I have.

What would be a new minimum powder load to bring these down to approx 1100fps in the pistol?

Thanks
