"Dang it!  Why didn't I concur!?!"

Not everyone can find the time to concur, when it's just as easy to agree ! ! !  8)
Yes, but it costs more.

Nice looking Glocks.

Is the ejector bent on the one gun. Or am I looking at something else?
the ejector on a G20 looks bent, but its designed that way. The thick slide width requires the ejector to bend inward a bit to reach the case head of a 10mm round as its being extracted out of the chamber.

10mm semi-auto handguns / Re: Gen 3 or Gen 4 G20 10mm?

Mike, I once converted a G30 to shoot 10mm when I was backpacking. Looking back, this was a silly move since I might have needed that weapon for personal defense in the high country. The extractor claw on a 30 BARELY grabs the case head of a 10mm round. It's fine for the range, but NOT something I'd ever use for SD.

I quickly sold the conversion parts and just bought a G29SF. Of course that led to a G20SF, and that led to a reloading setup...  But I digress. You can't go wrong with a stock G20. I prefer the Gen 3 even though my profession allows me access to the Gen 4. That part has to be your call. But you'll LOVE the 20 in any configuration.

Reloading 10mm ammo / Re: Glock 29 loads
November 04 2012 01:54:22 AM MDT
I'm brand new to reloading. I just set up my Lee Classic Turret and after careful adjustment, cranked out ten virgin 10 mm rounds. I'm putting a Rainier 165 gr. FMJ over 10 grains of Blue Dot in Starline brass with CCI large/magnum primers. I've measured the final bullet every which way and it exactly mimics some Swampfox I had laying around. So tell me, does this sound like a safe load to you guys?  I'm going to go fire em off soon, but I'm wondering if ill come back with a stub where my hand used to be.  :o

Rick, you need to go to Gunbroker.com. I just bought a new G20SF for $549, which out here is pretty darn good. There are MANY to choose from and you can sort through the selection by price, frame style, new/used etc. Then just have it shipped to your LGS. Waaaaaay easier than waiting for him to locate one. I waited almost 6 months last year for my LGS to find me a G29SF. Never again.

Nice Shadow! I carry my 29SF more than any other Glock I own. It just simply does it all and you can NEVER feel under gunned with it in a CCW role.

I went and bought a G20SF yesterday. Just cuz. Looking forward to cooler weather so I can rotate it in as a daily carry piece. Every 10 fan needs to own the pair!
