Gunsmithing / Re: recommended spring set up for gen4 g20

I must have misinterpreted the reply, sorry, I will get a hold of Underwood, or just order some of the delta elite, and try it, so that I work my way up to the full load, maybe as you stated, it is not what I really want in the end, I just don't want to shoot a watered down 10mm, if I wanted to do that I would have gone with the .40, in the end it may be a mute point as the closing of the smelter will make ammo scarcer than hen's teeth.

Gunsmithing / recommended spring set up for gen4 g20
November 06 2013 10:08:39 PM MST
Hello, I posted in the ammo section asking about ammo, and was informed that the gen 4 spring might not be able to handle the full power rounds from Underwood, are there any spring recommendations that will allow me to utilize this fine weapon to its fullest extent?
TIA

Thanks for the response, I will give Underwood a try, as for the factory springs, what is the best spring package to use in the gen4 20, so I don't run into problems? I want to run real 10mm rounds.

Hello, I have been lurking here for a while, and have been learning a lot, thank you to the site people, and mods for keeping a great site running the way this one is.

I am new to the world of 10mm, heard of it, but never paid it much attention, until now, I am looking for a real 10mm round, one that is consistent, from a consistent mfg, I am looking for the best self defense round,  winter, and summer, I have been trying to figure it out, but seems I need some guidance, and hope that the "best round " is not out of stock due to component shortages, I hope I gave enough information for an accurate suggestion, stock G20Gen4
Thanks
