If you are thinking of a conversion and need a gunsmith to ream a barrel for you, I would suggest you contact Steve at marsguns.com.  He reamed my Para conversion and did a great job.  He also is my go to guy with questions about 1911 set-up in general, and has great input on 10mm auto 1911's.

He suggests a Cominolli Frame Saver guide rod which uses two shok buffers, buffering both the slide tunnel and the frame.  This allows you to run a more standard recoil spring rate.  He suggests this in concert with the ubiquitous EGW flat bottom firing pin stop.

Has anyone seen a Sarsilmaz K2 in 10mm Auto yet?  They were announced over a year ago, but I have yet to even see one on gunbroker, let alone in the wild.  I would love to find one and run some rounds to see how it stacks up to my Witness's and my Para.

Any casters in the mix yet or am I the only one with Pb poisoning?

I am running Mac OS /Firefox 13, Safari or Chrome.  The issue is the width of the quick reply box.  The text field runs off the right of the screen.  My work setup with my laptop screen plus two monitors gives me 5280 pixels of width, and I can't open a browser wide enough across all three screens to see the edge of the box without scrolling.


Not a huge deal, but thought I would see if anyone else sees this in the quick reply dialog box.
