Taurus g3 and g3c testing

I thought I wanted a g3c and a local store had them both so I took my 62 in to test the trigger. My g2 is the same or better and a store clerk agreed with me on this. Oh well I guess I will have to buy something else!!!! BTW I am almost out of stuff to reload!! Craig

I picked up a G3 a few weeks ago just for fun, $269.00 at Scheels. It's actually not a bad weapon for the price. With a capacity of 17rds, and a 6lb trigger push, it's not bad for a sub 300 weapon, plus it actually shoots ok minus a few malfunctions. I will not be carrying this weapon, but will be fun for the great nieces and nephew's to plink with . Thanks Craig

Hey Ken I have had more luck with Taurus in general as I have a Slim and a G2 and they are reliable and good shooters. I would carry the G2 but am always looking for something smaller to carry but  need more than 7 rounds I feel. Craig

For sure, when I'm not carrying the P220, I carry my XDm compact 9 with the 13rd flush fitting mag, and a 19rd in the mag pouch. Have a great weekend!

Well my holster making friend is laid up so no gun show tomorrow so stopped by a local place to check on ordering a g2c taurus. This is a local small gun shop I get a kick out of as the guy doesn't want to try to order anything but he has no local stock to speak of go figure.  Craig

He's a Columbus detective and just has this as backup or for retirement. He has had good prices when you can buy something from him. He doesn't even try for reloading supplies. Does do AR stuff. Weird if you ask me.  Craig

I was at the local shop as the guy had gotten in a Taurus G2C and I compared it to my G2. Ah, exactly the same gun. I passed on buying it.  Craig
