Same thing.

John A.

Just got an email that they are now open back for business and as anyone would suspect, being closed and having to deal with the cost of restocking and everything else involved, has been hard on them.

WE'RE OPEN FOR ORDERS

Powder Valley family,

First, thank you. The messages, prayers, and encouragement you've sent after the warehouse fire have meant the world to us.

We have great news to share! We now have a variety of items back in stock. That means you can order again — same Powder Valley checkout, tracking, and customer service.

Every single order counts right now as we work to get back on our feet, and we're so grateful to have you with us. This country's soul is small-town, family-owned businesses like Powder Valley — with your help, we'll not only stay in business, we'll come back even better.

Thank you again for your prayers and support. Let's get back to business!

With gratitude,

The Powder Valley Team

Got that same email that their prices are still way too high trying to make it all back in one shot

That's the reality of the tight space we all have created over the past decades.

Profit margin became smaller due to inflation, and competition over lower prices is now exponentially higher when you compete nation wide on the internet, and even internationally with much lower labor costs.

Trust me, nobody at Powder Valley drives a fancy car.

We are in the final stages of run-away capitalism.

In reality, the low prices we used to pay on everything, are part of the problem. No other country managed to build an economy where you could buy a house or car with little to no down-payment, on a loan or credit card that was very easy to get.

The level of addiction to instant gratification, that we have developed in the US, is insane.

In a truly healthy economy all around, you would not be able to buy that TV for $200 at Wal Mart, you would pay 2 grand because it would be made in the US, with US labor costs, and you would have to save up an entire year to afford it.

The level of consumerism we have established, won't be around much longer for us. Wait till Ai kills even more of our working middle class and related tax revenue. There will be a lot of burger flippers and not much in the middle.

Soon most will not break-even on their bills, with those 2 garbage jobs, let alone being able to afford expensive hobbies.

Heck, even our social security is a debt.

Unless you managed to build higher net assets for a passive income, such as a few rental objects or a fat 401k, you better learn how to down-size, by a lot, and remove most of your overhead.
