I wanted to reload some Montana Gold 180 gr HP, large primer, and solo 1000.  I could not find any thing on Solo 1000 and 10mm, emailed Accurate they responded with the below.

Has anyone tried this combination? I am primarily looking for practice rounds with bullets mentioned above.  Any input advise would be apreciated.  Also if anyone has tried the montana golds pushing them faster with another powder.

Here is the load data we have for the 10 MM auto using Accurate Solo 1000.

Caliber:      10mm Auto

Barrel length:     5"

Powder:          Accurate – Solo1000®.

Bullet weight:  140 grains.

Start load: 6.3 grains (ca 1150 Fps)

Maximum load: 7.0 grains (ca 1225 Fps)

Bullet weight:  180 grains.

Start load: 5.5grains (1025 – 1075 Fps)

Maximum load: 6.1 grains (1100 – 1150 Fps).

Bullet weight:  200 grains.

Start load: 4.9 grains (925 – 950 Fps)

Maximum load: 5.4 grains (975– 1020 Fps).

NOTES:

It' important to note that SAFETY is our prime concern therefore we strongly recommend.

1.       TO ALWAYS BEGIN LOADING AT THE RECOMMENDED MINIMUM "START" LOAD and develop loads in 2% increments towards the MAXIMUM load.

2.       If at all possible, measure the velocity and correlate with our data.

Yea the performance is on the weak side for each bullet weight.  While they are probably a workable loading for paper punching, or light defensive uses, I would use different powders to bring the performance up to better velocities. ???

To me it just seems like a waste of a good jacketed bullet, now if you had cast bullets I'd say go for it! ;)
