I have Seecamp 32's so I ordered some of the Lehigh loaded Cavitators and also the new Underwood loading with the same bullet.  I have not been to the range yet.

We were not satisfied with a deep penetrating solid, so we applied the science of our Xtreme Penetrator and Xtreme Defense technologies to use the nose to redirect the hydraulic energy radially, creating a larger permanent wound cavity than any expanding solid.

I own steel autos in .32 ACP. I prefer penetration, but tissue disruption is good. What concerns me is accuracy. When I "pack" a .32 it's generally a "short term" affair.  What matters is if I'm able to breach either the sternum or cranium. This is what will make the difference between a "stop" and a "stun" with the cartridge.

I can place the .312" bullets rather well. Whether or not they will penetrate adequately is what "does the job".

"Street performance" is what makes the difference. As the 1962 Firestone advertisement campaign echoed, it's really "Where the rubber meets the road".

I was at the range yesterday and chronographed the loads out of a 2" Seecamp 32.  I think this is the first load out of a 32 that makes much sense.

Lehigh loaded 32 Extreme Cavitator  -  943 fps

Underwood loaded 32 Extreme Cavitator Std Pressure  -  998 fps

Underwood loaded 32 Erxteme Cavatator +P  -  1062 fps

I would like to see some gel tests by an independent tester and see how this design of bullet works.

Believe me, this is not something I would trust my life with but it makes the Seecamp a much better backup/bug.
