Don't know if any of you folks have seen the movie 'Backcountry', I have, four times on cable.  It's about WHAT NOT TO DO when you're in the back country, and the ramifications of making MANY stupid mistakes.

Another name for the film should be... Jaws, Out Of The Water!

It reminded me of THE reason why I bought the Glock 20SF and loaded it with 200gr Hard Cast, for the back country!  In bear country, I've always carried bear spray. When I bought the Glock 20SF a year plus ago, I decided this pistol would ALWAYS be with me in the deep back country of Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.

If you get the chance, watch the movie. And remember the scene (I won't give it away any more than I have) and if you had a 10MM (or greater) with you, you would most probably have a decent chance of walking out of the back country.

Highly recommended!

I saw the last half of that movie. I'd want a few 10mm's, some rifles, maybe a grenade.  :)

The movie "The Grey" is similar, but involves a plane crash. I still would have brought several cases of 10mm ammo.
