I know several shooters who have used Bob Cogan and his work is highly recommended. 

That is the first Commander sized 10mm I have seen.

Nice pistol but I have to agree about the price. I'm also with IC on not liking the large graphics STI uses on their pistols.

I don't doubt Bob Cogan's work is worthy, but even using his price list this is way high.  Base gun is $1200, hard chrome +$300.  Add a 10mm commander barrel from Schuemann +200 and $179 for fitting and $117 for the trigger job.

You still end up under $2000.

Nice looking gun though.
