Up to about 18" at my home in Salt Lake during the last 24 hours. Supposed to keep going for another 24-36 hours.

That would be ideal for me. We need the water here in the mountain west, but I just closed a construction loan and need to finish moving out of my house and need a few days of above freezing for the foundation to be poured.

We had perfect construction weather for the 20 months we were working on plans and the loan. Day we closed it went to crap! Figures.

Spent the last few rainy days preparing and handloading 500 40S&W with my cast Lyman 156 grain Devastator HP's. ${$default_cheesy_smiley}$
Today a cool damp front came in and I cast 13 pounds of the Lyman 156 grain Devastator HP's of which I was almost out. ${$default_grin_smiley}$ Tomorrow's weather will be more of the same, so I'll cast even more of them! ${$default_shocked_smiley}$

I did another 13 pound can full yesterday evening for a total of 26 pounds or about 1160 bullets total from this single cavity mold. This Hollow Point setup is slower to produce quanity as compared to multicavity molds and not having to deal with the Hollow Pointer pin in the bottom of the mold. Now to setup and size and lube them...

I like snow fine when I can stay inside and drink hot chocolate and watch birds. Not so much when I have to pack and move!

Sounds like you have made some good progress on casting during your downtime!

Today I casted some Lyman 175 grain TC's but this was from a 4 cavity mold, this filled a 1 pound Coffee can fast, about 600 bullets, then I switched to a LEE 6 cavity 9mm 122 grain TC, I had the darnest time getting it to cast without wrinkles. ${$default_huh_smiley}$ I had to wash the mold with carburetor cleaner and soot it, to get it back casting again.

BTW, there is a chance to see snow flakes here tonight or early tommorrow morning! ${$default_shocked_smiley}$ Maybe a better chance further north of me.

Yes I have shot a few of them @ 1400+ fps, to practice with, they also work from the 357Sig cartridges.

The glorious star lubri-sizer. I am jealous. My Lachmiller does a fine job, but it is very slow compared to a Star.
