Who has a magic load for 200 coated and Blue Dot. Only looking for a good place to start. I do have a fully supported chamber and know how to work up a load.

I've been looking thru all of my manuals including Lyman 4th for Cast Bullets and all are hot 40 loadings.

These are the bullets I will be using. They are the 200gr Brass Monkey offering. Will be using new Starline brass and CCI 300s.

This is the data I've collected and use, Alabusa.  Most from published values, some from other trusted sources.  Most I've loaded so far is 9.1gr over a 195 grain WFN coated hardcast.  It runs 1153fps in my 4" M610.  I'm running  low on Blue Dot and will increase loads when I get more.

Bull wt.   Blue Dot             Pwder Wt. min   Pwder Wt. max
200gr   Hornady                      6.9gr            9.4gr
200gr   Lyman 48th              8.0gr            9.6gr
200gr   Speer                      9.4gr          10.5gr
200gr   10mmReloaded      9.0gr          10.0gr

Thanks Sparky for the info.

I'm going to start at 8gr and work up from there. I don't have a fps goal but a good full power load with great accuracy.

I just use jacketed data.  Expect to reach max velocity at a bit lower charge.

10.4gr BD is my perfect range load for accuracy using 180gr XTP or HAP, so you could adjust from there. If you have any BE-86 around, that works well with 200gr as well
