AP news is reporting the rifle recovered had a spent cartridge in the chamber and three more cartridges in the magazine.  Suggest to me a bolt action rifle.  I have seen rhetoric that the cartridge was 30-06 Springfield.

The latest this morning is a suspect is in custody.

Remember this for the next time the left wants to ban ARs, semi auto rifles and detachable or high capacity magazines, while telling us that a bolt action rifle is enough for hunting.

On another note, there was a time when I was willing to listen to the left, to reason, to understand, to consider. Those times are 100% over.

I hate to break this to you....I am pretty left.  But very 2A at the same time.  Keep in mind "left" doesn't always mean "democrat".

And in the state I live, a democrat here is about the same as just right of center Republican in other places.

And, you are not right.  The "edges" of both parties are so radical I don't know how to deal.

There was a time when I could understand that people would be pro 2a, but still vote for any Dems, but the party has shown that it can't be trusted at all, leaving zero wiggle room in my book.

Keep in mind, that I'm very opinionated. At the end of the day, it is just that... an opinion. And you can obviously share yours in the same way, and vote however it fits your values.

As a matter of facts, I don't fit into any drawer, let alone in this 2 party nonsense.

I'm for the most part a libertarian. I rather see a small government with little to no waste in tax revenue, and no personal infringements. Granted, that would require a more responsible society.

I'm liberal to a degree that I don't care if people are white, black, yellow, purple, gay, straight or guys wear panties. What I do NOT want, is being told what I have to accept or like.

When it comes to the US, we could make use of much better anti-trust laws so we don't get screwed over by trillion dollar market-cap monopolies. Throw in term-limits and age-restrictions for politicians. Instead of one president ruling most of it, we should have entities that focus solely on economy, or education, or military, or health care, or law enforcement, etc. and allow us to vote proper people into place based on those categories and their skills.

Any form of lobbying should also be outlawed. And get rid of this garbage, bias and agenda driven media complex.

But that's just my 2 cents.
