Just re-watched a video I had seen some time ago and it really impressed me.

When mrgunsngear tested the hornady TAP 147gr (xtp) bullet, he got 23" and NO expansion, it tumbled though.  also the velocity was low 900's.

crank it up to 1180fps (chrono) out of a 4" glock 32 and that same bullet in 357sig is moving pretty good. Expanded to .500 and penetrated nearly 17".

That is awesome, IMO.

Now I want to see it going 1400 fps out of a 9x25 dillon, can the bullet hold together?  I suppose the 357 magnum could push it to that point, anyone seen the 357 mag loaded with the 147 XTP?

cue evil laugh.
