Wow, after countless broken slides and cracked frames I FINALLY have a Wonderfinish gun that is bulletproof!!!!! 18lb spring Wilson shok-buff and it is good to go.

Is it a rounded Wonder Finish? 9mm's have cracked slides so don't know about it saving you.

Squared slide should be good to go without the shock buff.  Slide cracks of the type we have seen in the rounded slides are almost certainly not from "battering", but from the stress of keeping the slide/barrel locked during the first .100" of travel.
