That was good.  Interesting, our relationship with dogs, almost primal.

Amazing how smart they are and how their behavior has evolved over the eons we've been together. I hadn't thought about it until I read dogs are among the few animals that understand what it means for us to point our fingers.

Always had large dogs as a child. One day, my wife came home with a Shih Tsu. I teased about only liking "real dogs". But that dog was one of the brightest, bravest and loving I've ever known. Broke my heart when that little one died.
