You will hear it...Here is why it is wrong

"We have [do, not do, ban, require something] for the children"

A popular refrain that is the heart of the current anti-2nd amendment crusade.  The New York Times recently ran a blog post that went into detail about how many children are killed in the US each year.  They considerately reduced that to an average daily body count of 18.

Of course, they defined children as anyone up to the age of 24, which conveniently puts almost all gang violence related deaths in the scope of their article.  In fact, 80% of those deaths are victims 15 and older.  The Truth About Guns nicely debunks the article.
