Production date of Winchester pistol ammo

I have been poking around online for  info on deciphering the code on some Winchester Ranger T 230gr + P ammo, only to find 80 different answers to my question. I have also contacted Winchesters help line, only to be told that the following box code - GN40 was proprietary information. Any help this would be great
