Taurus 992 and Taurus in general

Well it's not a Glock ${$default_grin_smiley}$

I know some of the Taurus model revolvers are hit or miss. I did some research on this one and the transfer bar was an issue. Hopefully they worked on it and mine won't get it! The ease of changing cylinders and the fact I was searching for a .22 Magnum sealed it for me. Any thoughts on the Taurus models?

This is what I signed the papers on today. Just have to wait 60-80 days now (before the explosion it was 7-10 days) ${$default_shocked_smiley}$ ${$default_shocked_smiley}$

I couldnt hit a thing with my Tracker 357 Mag. My Dad had a Tracker in 17 HMR and 22 Mag. His 22 Mag would send the rounds any which way if felt like. He took it to the retailer and it was found that the barrels had a slight curvature in it. It went back to Taurus and they fixed it. It is an accurate and fun little revolver to shoot now. He sold the 17 HMR. I recently picked up a Taurus Raging Bull 44 Mag 8 3/8" barrel. This is a beast and its accurate. This is going to be my deer gun this year.

Well they are doing March 20th purchases now. Looks like this one will be well into July! ${$default_evil_smiley}$

At least you have it all nailed down to some extent. Long wait but a sure thing. Could be worse, like trying to find XTP bullets for handloading. Might be Christmas before I get my hands on any of them.

Unlike the other two I plan on trying to find an 8 day release FFL. Unfortunately many aren't making MD stick to their law and are running scared.

It's 7 and the MSP just lost in court meaning all the FFL's should be letting them go. They are scared so we sit at 90-120 days and growing!
