What do you all use for interior  safe lighting?, and are there any viable battery operated options that last a while

nothing currently. in the past I used to keep a 110v 40 Watt bulb plugged in to fight moisture and double as a light. then I bought some Golden Rods for the safes. I have been thinking about what to use for quick & inexpensive safe lights myself lately.

Thanks man, I have a dehumidifier rod / stick, but better lighting would be awesome

I have a small flashlight on top the safe that I put in my mouth.  Works really well but looks stupid.

I need to get one of these:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FNNKYSR

We have six of these that we use at our off-grid cabin.  Three "AA" batteries lasts months running them 4-5 hours a night.  I am sure it would be years if I only turned them on when I got int he back of the safe.  They provide soft lighting in a big space, but in a small space like a safe I bet they would be very bright.

edit:  Thanks for this thread.  Prompted me to finally measure my safe and order a light string.  I need 472" (12M) so I am going to order the longer string.

Harbor Freight has the LED battery operated lights at reasonable cost and they have magnets made so you can stick them on the wall or ceiling of the safe

I like this one because it uses AA batteries
