On glocks own website they simultaneously are listing the G29Gen5 as a new release and a discontinued model:

If the discontinued page is to be believed they are dropping the G29/30 sized frames.  Too bad as it is a great gun and is a place they don't have any real competition.  I can't think of another 10mm in that size class.
