I was planning on trying some of this in my 610 snubbie.  Does anyone know, how much hotter this round is?  Over the standard .40 S&W +P offerings.  I'm thinking this would probably be in the 'lower' 10mm pressure gradient.  Also, that these would be quite suitable for taking 'feral hogs' to their last barbecue!

I have some loading data for the cartridge but the cartridge consist of a 451 Detonics casing necked down to 40 caliber and cut to 45ACP case length...read more here; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.40_Super

Therefore 40Super cartridge is not going to fit the 610 as a drop in...  A new cylinder could be made that would accept the cartridge, but not sure it will fit the frame form for the 610.

However, there are those that cut the chambers of the 610 for 10mm magnum use... :o

Thanks, Shadow.  I didn't realize this was 'bottlenecked' cartridge like the .357 SIG, and thought it was similar to the .45 Super.  It seems like a lot of expense to use a 'wildcat' that has borderline performance.

I know you are not to only one to think that the 40Super was just a stronger 40S&W...
That leads back to the 610 and a simple chamber reaming to accept the 10mm Magnum, this has been done.  Utilizing the moon clips still allows you to use 40S&W, 10mm and the 10mm Magnum for the revolver.
