Took out the 1006

Went to the range today to run some rounds through my Beretta after having problems with it, took the 1006 along with some Hornady Premium 180g xtp's and some Prograde 165g fmjs. I was shooting pretty good with my Beretta and the only other guy at the range happened to notice my Joy so he says "I just got this here Five-seven, see if you can shoot it that well." Challenge accepted my man. I said alright, I'll give ya five rounds out of my 10mm, and Ill take 5 shots out of your pistol. He says you have to shoot a whole mag. Alright, I mean its your ammo I'll shoot it all for you if you like! I asked him if he knew anything about 10mm and he said never shot one and all he knew was it was basically a longer 40s&w.

So he loads me up a mag of 5.7 and I handed him the 1006 with a mag 5 prograde and 4 hornadys. I blasted away with the 5.7 which was pretty neat, and he shot the ten which he thoroughly enjoyed. He then asked my why the last 4 rounds in the mag had a little more bite to them. I then got to explain the difference between 10mm and real 10mm ammo. Even though the Hornady (180g xtp/adv 1180fps) isn't really a full power load, it was enough for him to see the difference over the Prograde (according to intercooler testing - Limited Pro 4.75" Prograde 165gr FMJ 1128, 1126, 1134, 1134, 1126. Average = 1129.6 FPS/ 468 LBS) and you could see his excitement and sincerity when he said, "have to get one of these".

It was a good day, wish it was a little warmer out and I would have had some powerhouse stuff for him to shoot, you know, really seal the deal

What does the NFP stand for? I remember he did a new loading for his 155 gr tmj awhile back that really helped it meet the advertised 1500 fps that the old one was falling a bit short of. Hell, it appears it really exceeded it. Too bad I haven't seen him selling any 155 gr tmj in over a year.
