I had to go out of town for a few days and wasn't able to be on the forum.  However I'm back again and ready to play!  :D

I attended the wake and funeral in Phenix City, Alabama of my nephew and godchild of 28 years old.  Some hunters found the ATV crash and reported it to 911.  The crash appeared that, he possibly misjudged speed negotiating a downhill turn while riding his ATV, was thrown off the machine and it landed on top of him, striking him in the back of his neck, killing him most likely instantly.  This happens around 2pm-6 pm Last Sunday and he wasn't ID'ed till Tuesday because he didn't have his ID on him.
Such a tragic loss is never easy on the family and friends.  :'(

BTW, in communications after the funeral with the catholic priest, he and I struck up a conversation over lunch and he is a shooter and handloader!  8)

Anyways you guys, take care and be careful out there! ???

Glad it was a safe trip for you.  Sorry for you and your families loss.

And I wish I was back.  Currently disarmed in France.

I have noticed the French police carry Sig Pro sidearms.  Think they will upgrade to 10mm when the P220 10mm comes out? :P

My Condolences to you and yours Shadow. At least he went quickly and doing something he enjoyed.

BTW, until I saw the AL on there, I was going to wonder why you came to Phoenix, AZ and didnt say anything ;-) I am good for a coffee at the least, an adult Libation can be procured even though I don't drink  ;)

Thank for the condolences...and the hospitality invitation.  Yes, many have been crossed up with the tail of those two cities!
The worst part of my ride home was seeing all the LSU fans driving home from the Auburn game, LSU 7 Auburn 41.  They were licking their wounds and had their tails tucked under their bumpers, of their vehicles adorned with LSU flags, stickers and Louisiana License plates!  :o

Sorry to hear about your loss! Condolences!
Some days it's just good to be lucky; rather than just good looking!
