Hello Men (and women maybe),

My name's Rich. I, too, enjoy shooting the 10mm Auto cartridge. I have a G20. I just wanted to join up, learn more and maybe contribute when I can.

I also may be the 'buddy' that new member, 10mmMike, mentioned in his intro above. ${$default_laugh_smiley}$

Welcome! If you do the Facebook thing I established an "EAA Firearms" page for interesting stuff concerning the Witness, etc... not affiliated with EAA the company (no answers there). I add much of the info I post here on it but also Witness only stuff.

If you ever get stumped, need parts, etc... for one Brian Enos forums has the gurus!

I'm Brian and I'm from Tahuya Washington.

Had a G29 which I liked to carry along for trips in the woods because of its compact size, but that snappy recoil from that short slide convinced me that I wanted to try out the G20 ASAP.

Liked the milder recoil of the G20 but at the same time I missed the concealability of the G29's shorter gripframe.

So after firing a 50 round box of 10MM rounds through my brand new G20 at the range, I went home, grabbed a hacksaw and... ${$default_shocked_smiley}$ !

Hey appreciate the welcome guys.

I have owned many revolvers and semi autos over time but my Glock 10mm is my favorite handgun to have along when I'm out in the sticks.

I'm a reloader too, so the only ownership drawback that comes to mind is how much I dwell in the loss of those individual spent cases I lose when they get launched into the weeds, never to be seen again, but of course it's worth it and of more are available for sale if my supply gets below the amount I feel is still plenty enough.

Kind of bugs me when I go out with 100 rounds and end up coming back with 94 or so...I hate the empty spots in my ammo boxes. :'(

BRL, Welcome to the forum and the illustrious world of 10mm! It is amazing how the brass disappears, but don't bother looking in the grass or bushes, it remains in a "Low Earth Orbit" among the satellites! LOL ${$default_tongue_smiley}$

I just want to post a short intro to say hello. I currently own a G29SF and G20SF that I picked up this year and love both of them. I'd read a lot about the 10mm over the years and finally decided to pick up a G20SF. After a few trips to the range I just had to have a G29SF. I have only shot factory through both and must say what sweet pistols they are. I was expecting a lot more recoil than with my G23 but was pleasantly surprised. I've reloaded up some 180 grain lead and look forward to getting back to the range. I'm sure there's a wealth of reloading data and experiences on the forum and look forward to digging in.

Where are you at in SW PA?
