Quite fond of the 29 myself.  Good shooting btw

Thank you. I have had a Glock 30sf for a few years, but have been wanting a G29sf.

I have the 30s as well!  I carry them both

I bought a poofy vest about a month ago and find myself carrying this quite often now. Great little thich gun.

With the right holster and clothes it is concealable, in my humble opinion.

I carry my 29 most of the time

I like the weight of the Glock.  Doesn't drag my pants down like my double stack 1911 does.

But, the slide is fatter in the IWB holster.  And that makes it slightly less comfortable for a long day of wear.

Totally almost bought this one. Didn't have enough confidence in how it would handle so small while firing. Great to hear about your experience. Thanks for sharing. And congrats/enjoy.

That is why I like my Mini Concealment (http://www.advancedholster.com/Mini.html ). Does a great job, and doesn't add much to the width.

Thank you, it is easy to enjoy. :)
I believe like any gun, depends on the ammunition you choose.

I'm thinking about getting one of these holsters. Petty great Holster?

Yes, I like it. For $30.00 you get a holster that works with any 3rd or 4th generation Glock, expect the 42 and 43. I can use it with my G29, and if I happen to acquire a G23, or G36 it will work.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I have one too and LOVE IT!!

Question for ya... Mt slide dosen't seem to be completely forward... I have looked at about four 29's and 30's and they also exhibit same "look".

You can see it in the pic of the FP cover on mine.... How does yours look?

I'll take a few pictures tonight after I finish hanging my Christmas tree lights, but I think it looks the same. I'll check my 29 and 30.

My Glock 20 slide (which was handy) measures 0.036" off the back of the trigger mechanism housing.  The housing is flush with the frame.

My Glock 29, as I recall when I inspected them side by side, is the same.

cwlongshot

My 20 was as you would think it should be, nothing ot of the ordinary... but the 29 just "looks:" like its not in battery 100%...

Checked the G29.  Both measure 0.036" off the frame.  The trigger mechanism housing on the G29 sits deeper though, at 0.055".
