S&W or EAA

So Im looking for some opinions from you guys.  I have a Glock 29 and I like but I kinda wish I would have bought the 20 instead and I am considering doing also. I bought the 29 as a carry gun but I usually end going back to carrying my Bersa Firestorm 45ACP.  So I am thinking of selling this and going the route of either a S&W or a EAA witness.  Ive shot a Witness before (not 10mm) and like them, but I like the look of the S&W also.  I would love a 1911 but that one I would have to save up for since I just emptied the gun fund on a Browning Maxus.  My idea is to get into the handgun hunting or atleast have a 10mm along when I go. SO I want the longer barrel.  What your opinions on either or.

Depends what you want the most in this purchase. I love my EAA Hunter but love all the others too! Any of them you could hunt with really. If you bought the G20 you could change to a 6" or longer barrel. Capacity of the G20 or EAA pistols will be more than the S&W or 1911. Do you need double action? I can say my 1006 has never had a single issue with any ammo from 135-220.

That's a tough one being that their are numerous ways to argue which route to take.

At the $550 price range you have the EAA 4.5" barrel or the G20 4.6" barrel.

At $700 you have a G20 with a 6" aftermarket barrel.

At $1000 you have the EAA Hunter with a 6" longslide, or whatever a G20+6" longslide would cost.

At $1000 - $1200 are the two Kimber 10mm 1911s with a 5" barrel and more chamber support than any other semi-auto 10mm platform available without going 100% custom.

All the options available are so good in their respectful ways that it's hard to even steer someone specifically toward one or another assuming we're keeping an open mind.

I'm not sure how a S&W fits into the mix outside some see it as having nice aesthetics.  But when it comes to aesthetics, that's where in my mind the Dan Wesson Razorback RZ-10 ($1350.00) is second to none.

Then there is the Fusion lineup that seems to be becoming more and more popular and is available in a longslide version and can be tailored/customized pretty much anyway you like for a pretty penny.

Decisions, decisions, decisions,...   That's a tough call.  Good Luck!!!

Im not sure which way I want to go but I just dont shoot this 29 enough to want to keep it.  I am thinking of going away from the rifles for deer hunting and switch to handguns and the 10mm is one of calibers I want to use.  The other being a Smith and Wesson XVR 460.  10 for upclose and personal and the 460 for reach out and touch something.

The Witness are nice and those Match are very nice. My dad likes those Witnesses and has a Match 40 S&W.
