Suggest Grizzly Ammunition with their 200 XTP for non dangerous game in 10mm.

Here in Alaska Grizzly Ammunition is very popular with 200/220 Hardcast for Bear Defense.

Well, open carry is now official-official in Florida since a few days, even in my county. Our sheriff's office finally confirmed as well.

And my desire to carry open went away before I even tried it ;D

I haven't seen a single person carry open, and we are packed with conservatives.

I think the negative and implied stigma is the main reason. Too many will judge it as showboating, instead of exercising our rights. Being a possible target is a distant second.

Very nice! I need to load some .308 for my Wilson Combat Super Sniper. That rifle is still brand new.

At one point I ordered countless ammo boxes from the same brand, for all my calibers. Not even my dirty range brass gets the zip-lock treatment - only the random brass finds I don't shoot at all.  ;D

My OCD brain won't shut up lol

Heck, I have Pelican cases for my Pelican cases!

I forgot to post the finished work, this was 240 in Federal brass, have 13 more in Hornady brass not shown.

In my G20 with 200XTP very good results with 14.1 of AA9 using CCI 350 primers just shy of 1250 fps in 4.6" KKM.

Loading rimless in a revolver is not my thing, let alone for carry.

Love my GP100 in .327 Federal Magnum though. Most of my reloading happens for this gun, in all the .32 flavors.

The GP-100 (or L-frame) and 10mm always seemed like a good match to me.  The biggest bullet* in the biggest frame revolver I'm comfortable carrying.

I missed the boat when the 10mm GP-100 3" WCs were around the first time, so when they started showing up again this year I decided I wasn't going to miss it twice.

I ended up buying a like new but used one made in 2018, so I guess I didn't miss the first go-round.  It just took me a long time to catch up.

*In a six-shot gun.

***Warning - This is not load data***

These loads were worked up using GRT simulation correlated against 357 Sig and 38 Super load data.  If you join me on the stupid train of loading off-book the risk is yours!

I first fired 5 shots of 90 grain Gold Dots using the Double Tap pull-down data.  This gave me primers and case head visuals and measurements of a load that is expected to be near/at max.  The primers on those shots clearly had flowed a bit into the Glock firing pin rectangle.  Case heads were .429"-.430" from the lone wolf barrel.  None of the below tests showed primer flow rectangles and the case heads were .427"-.428".

TBH, there is clearly more "room" in these loads. These values are more or less the same as I would get as max loads from 357 Sig. Of course, 357 Sig is a 40K psi cartridge.

I will next work on some accuracy testing, and probably step up another half grain or so, but I have to run some additional simulations first.
