If you could carry anything you wanted and over penetration didnt matter would these wide meplat beartooth 200gr hardcasts be the best stopper even when compared to say a 200gr xtp?

I'll make one comment that may apply.

I have a Gen4 Glock 20 that now eats everything EXCEPT Underwood 220 hard cast that might hit 50% FTF.  If your running one, that might be a deciding factor.

Your comment follows what Hickok45 had in one of his recent videos; the 200gr HC worked fine, however, the 220gr HC wanted to tumble out of the G20G4. IIRC, it was UW he was using.

Hard cast would not be my first choice as a man stopper. I would pick the 200gr Nosler HP over the XTP as a all around load.
