10mm a little thin

If you have looked at Gunbot lately 10mm is getting a litttle thin and the selection is not very good. Like I said before I do not think the good ole days are coming back anytime soon. As soon as something hits it is gone in hours or less. Remember when you could just go buy ammo at the gun store that was on the shelf. Those days are gone.

I shop a bunch but no problems. I think I have about 4k rounds of various stuff now  :o

Expect more Underwood, PBR soon, Remington at Cabela's off and on and Buffalo Bore about anywhere out there. If you like overpaying for underperforming ammo a MFG in Utah I am sure has stock  ;D

When .22LR is the same as 10mm in price it isn't a hard decision which one to shoot  ;D

Now it's gun shots at a Pot Fest in Denver.Everytime there is a high profile event with a shooting it's another twist with the blade from the controlled media.I expect nothing to get better, sorry.

A new event? Is everyone looking for HP or target/practice ammo? Underwood had so much TMJ for sale recently it could have put me in the poor house. Wanted to spread the wealth to PBR when their brass arrives.

Yes I am trying to save a little for some 135,155,165 JHP from Kevin. I am alo going to get some of the 200 XTP if he gets it up this week. I have shot all my light ammo up and am not going to rebuy anything that is not full power. I might buy some light loads at a bargin just to have but i do not see any bargins in the near future. I have some I might sell or trade for some full 10's if somebody needs some of the lighter stuff. I have Hornady 165gr,Remington180,Prvi 180JHP,and a bunch of Uncle Teds Speer ammo but I like it. I am keeping all my Buffalo Bore as it is good stuff just very expensive. I love the 155 Barnes X.

I'm looking for someone with some old Elite Ammo. If you see some send them my way!

RRMan03

Will do but from looking at todays list you will be luck to get an empty. Maybe a Glaser Safety Slug or a Corbon Power Ball. I talked to Midway today about big factory ammo and they told me not to expect any or very little the rest of the year. Goverment contracts getting all the production.

Well looks like in the middle of the night some of the low power stuff showed up. Bet it does not last long. I guess i just am hung up on the high power low price stuff that just seems to be non existant but we can all hope it gets better before we get to old to handle the 10mm.

The better stuff seems to show up often too but the wallet must be ready and order at least 500-1000 when it's there. Actually .22LR is the only thing I'm a little light on just because I refuse to pay .30 a round for it. Even those show up often but you have to be on your game to grab some on a good deal.

I found the advice relayed to me a plus too. In times like these buy the good deal ammos and let everyone else pay too much. By that I mean 10mm and Mosin 7.62x54 plus really the Magnum rounds. I have more 10mm than anything and will be shooting more of it and my Mosin than anything. The 9mm has been pretty much out of reach on price so haven't bought any of it! Doesn't bother me because would you rather shoot a 10mm or 9mm at the range? A Mosin or a .22LR at the range? I like the harder hitting stuff so happy 10mm can be found and purchased at a more reasonable price than even 9mm  :o

That problem Ido not have. I only have 10mm guns. Nothing else. I am looking at the new Colt LE901-16S if 308 comes down a bunch. As for 22 i have so much I do not even know what I have and do not even own a 22. Thing is one can always pickup a 22 gun much easier than the ammo. I got all mine at 9.99 for 550 rounds. That is slightly better than the current .30 per round. I would give a 22 away before I would pay that to shoot it. I tend to think prices for the so called assult rifles will come down but a lot of people are stuck with 2200.00 Colt 6920's. I passed one the other day for 1000.I would hate to know I put 2000 in a Rock River 3 months ago and in a month its going to be selling for 750. Now the ammo seems to be a different issue.
