Bought a new 9mm hand gun yesterday. It is a Arex Delta. Shoots very nice and comes with a small cleaning kit, 4 back straps, 2 15 round mags and more I can't remember in a hard case. Very nice size, smaller than full size but larger than the mini types. I will of course shoot it a lot more today and report back. BTW it was 465 but if you are a member of the range than it was 319 plus tax 344 out the door.  Craig

I hadn't ever heard of it so I looked it up.

Is the magazine release really where the slide release usually is?  Or is that a typo on their website?  https://arex.us/arex-delta/

It its' a typo and not really the mag release, I don't think I could buy one with a straight face.  That's very H&K'ish from putting cartridges in the magazine backwards.

This post checked by independent fact checkers, and they're all pissed off about it.

That?s interesting about the slide release location  😀

It's a typo.  Mag release is in the normal location.

I can't speak to the Arex Delta, but I have an Arex Zero 1, as does my son.  We both like them very much.  It is a Sig P226 derivative, but it has some unique features I like.  It has a thumb safety and is capable of cocked and locked carry.  In order to avoid overloading the controls, the Sig style decocker doubles as the slide stop/release.  It takes a minute to get used to, but if you just train with the controls for 10 minutes, it becomes very intuitive.

Quality is very good.  Runs without hiccup.  Good stuff all around.

Looks like a nice pistol

I bought a small set of steel punches and changed the back strap to the largest one and I do like it better but will shoot tomorrow. i don't know this gun well enough to speak to the other issues but will pull it out and check.  Craig

The slide release and the mag release are the same button near the mag. The small switch closer to the front is the take down switch. Some of the guns have a safety but my doesn't have a switch for it except the trigger safety switch on the trigger.

One more thing it's a lot more fun to reload for a new gun than it is to just to be reloading!!!!! Craig

Plus you get to test out your home rolled goods 😀

OK shot the Arex with the fattest grip and it was better for my hand!! Boy the range was cold to start with but warmed up enough to shoot. BTW I was wrong on the controls. The mag release is below the slide release. Craig

a little cooler is better than super hot, at least for me. I shoot at my friends farm sometimes so I don?t have to drive as far to the indoor range. 95 with little air movement  gets pretty warm

Hey Ken it's their system start up that has to run the ac till it gets to like 62 then it warms up. I am sure it only bothers me!! Craig

Your probably right, with the extremely long and super cold winters we have in MN, I?ll take warm over seriously cold any day of the week

I shot the Arex today out of boredom. I did fix a problem I have been having with guns with a safety in the trigger. I moved my finger more toward the finger nail and this eliminated the pinching I had been having a minor problem lately. I have changed my grip and the finger thing was part of that so all better now!!!  Craig
