It's ben awhile since I've posted anything; so wanted to give an update. The factory RS is pretty brutal for me with hot loads so I had set my G29 up with a 21# Wolf non captured RS and a stainless recoil rod. It works great for handling the hot Underwood's and even the milder Blaser 200 fmj. However, that heavy spring makes racking the slide very difficult. I like to use my G29 for a carry gun, and wanted to be able to rack it with one hand & jeans pocket, etc. I read about the DPM recoil reducer so sprung for one. For the G29 its the captured spring, mechanical set up. I just dropped it in and went to the range with some Blaser 200, the Corbon PowrBall and Underwood's Nosler 135 and their Gold dot 165. No FTF or feed properly, and though stout, the nuclear rounds were very manageable. I do need to have the trigger guard relieved some as I get Glock knuckle. I only shot at 15ft, but POA was spot on. Of course the Blaser 200 and the PowrBall were the softest recoiling. I was able to doubletap w/o issues too. I'm please with it.
