They are similar, but not the same. Different bullets, different powder charges, and I haven't seen many (C)'s with sealant. Also, the XM# often indicates a bulk/government stock number. I've seen many XM boxes on retail shelves, but that doesn't rule out an original bulk/government order, or perhaps a surplus condition.

Kind of hard to tell from the pics but the bullets might be slightly different as you suggest.

Thanks for the update Shadow. I would have hoped for a bit more velocity, but what can we expect from a .gov load.
