Carry Ammo Revamp: Xtreme Defenders

My pal Justin that is a technician for Underwood has tried to get me to switch ammo for awhile. He said in all their testing the Xtreme Defenders are consistent and arent subject to clogging on heavy clothing.

I'm (thinking of) switching to the Underwood 100 grain Xtreme Defender in my Glock 29. Have any of you got chrony numbers for these in the 3.77" barrel ? They get 1800 from a Glock 20 I believe (also would appreciate your chrono readings here too) so i think 1720-1740 is probably to be expected from a G29. Penetration should be in the 16" area.

Shadow, I actually spent days digging for tests about those Lehigh bullets and I cant find things to back up Underwoods tests.

So I'm going with a suggestion you made to me when I first got this 29. The 165 Gold Dot by Underwood. In Lucky Gunners short barrel test, the 165 didnt expand well, proving what you told me back then is true. The 165 is designed for higher velocity. 

At the end if the day, I've always been a Gold Dot fan. Since I got my CCP I've carried Gold Dots in every pistol except this 10mm. I think the 165 will be just about perfect.

Really "lying"?  That's quite a charge.  No doubt that acusation is based on significant supporting evidence and expertise and not simple just a point view that differs from your personal opinion. 
I can't wait to see it.  Please share it with all of us.

Read the post above yours. I couldnt find enough positive evidence. Gold Dots are king, is, was, and always will be.
